Abigail Coburn is the personal trainer of BodyFix Gym. She can design and implement a programme to fit your needs and lifestyle. It’s not about how long we live, but the quality of the life we live!

Abigail is a qualified REP's registered Personal Trainer, Fitness Instructor and Wellness Coach with years of experience.

Having helped others achieve their fitness goals and shown them the difference that even a small amount of activity can do to improve the quality of life Abigail is available to help you make the changes you need to reach your goals.



An opportunity presented itself to participate in a “Health and Fitness” challenge. I was already a member of a local gym in my area and my program consisted mainly of weight training, but I got bored with it especially since I was working on my own and lacked the motivation to keep it up.

That’s where Abigail made a difference – she was interested in my own personal fitness goal and what I wanted to achieve, she was there at every training session, she would explain each exercise, why and what muscle group we were targeting using the correct name of each muscle, and she would be hands on. Her encouragement, excitement and enthusiasm was motivation enough for me to personally push myself and to continually improve with each session.

I first met Abigail when I joined  City Fitness. I remember showing her a woman's fitness magazine and pointing to the fitness model on the cover and saying "I want that figure!" The results I achieved over 5 months were phenomenal! She got me to the point of doing handstand push-ups, something I would have never dreamed of doing! I felt so strong and loved my new look!

Since working with Abigail I now feel confident to step into any gym and do not feel intimidated by working out in the weights area. Abigail made every workout challenging, creative and most importantly, fun! She taught me about working each individual muscle group and showed me how to do it with the correct form. For the first time in my life I actually couldn't wait to work out! Her professionalism, knowledge and commitment to her work provided the perfect scenario for success.
